What is Prism sheet?

The Prism Sheet is used when changing the incident direction or diffusing a light source that is directional such as an optical device for the LCD TV or the laptop /monitor backlight.
Prism Sheet Optical principle
Prism sheet is a special reflector used to enhance the intensity and color saturation of transmitted light and is commonly used in equipment such as tv, laptop ,monitor and led related backlight displays. based on the phenomenon of interference and diffraction of light. When the light is irradiated on the prism sheet, since the prism sheet is a non-uniform medium, the propagation direction of the light will change. Specifically, light rays are reflected and refracted on the prism film, and interference and diffraction phenomena will occur at different positions. These interferences and diffractions cause the light to generate multiple wavelengths on the prism film , including visible light and other wavelengths of light.
